About The Mug House

We are a small but very welcoming traditional pub, untouched by the advance of modern times. A warm welcome awaits you in all of our rooms: the Bar with open fire and friendly locals; the Snug with stone floor, benches and the home of our world famous losing darts team; or the larger “Back room” suitable for families with views across to the Malvern Hills. Alternatively enjoy sitting in our beautiful walled garden which adjoins our 1000 year old Claines Church. We are dog friendly!

We serve fine Banks’s ales as well as a range of guest beers and cider. Home cooked meals and sandwiches are available at lunchtime on weekdays and Saturdays.

The Mug House is the perfect place to start (or finish!) your wedding at Claines Church. We can cater for Christening parties, Funeral wakes or other family events and our Back room can be used for private parties and functions.
